dreaming with eyes open

a journey started
since 2014
Photography expresses the thoughts and feelings I fail to put into words. When you see something that moves you and you snap it, you keep a moment. One doesn't stop seeing. One doesn't stop framing. It doesn't turn off and turn on. It's on all the time.
Armenian "Masur" is widely spread all over Armenia. As a tea it has a tangy, tart flavor and a pinkish color. Health benefits of such tea are essential, since it has proven effect in purifying the body's blood, easing headaches and dizziness.

The Museums Night
The festival takes place one night a year - the museums of Armenia and many countries of the world are open to welcome visitors all night long and all museums and galleries work as free pass. The idea of the festival belongs to the Ministry of Culture of France. It is held on May 14 till midnight and has been celebrated in Armenia since 2005. Due to museums we get acquainted with the numerous samples of international art, we develop aesthetic taste and appreciate all that was created by mankind.
"I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvelous that only the marvelous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvelous, I let go. Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls."
— Anaïs Nin
Captured this city in my mind, the darling town of Sinaia, Romania. It has all of the lovely atmosphere and warmth a tourist needs to receive from the locals.
Not the best at ink but still competing
Though graffiti wasn't a strong aspect for this country, but the streets were pretty much full of ink. You could come across painted walls, doors or a whole neighbourhood and still be unable to experience a proper art. Of course, some exceptions could be found, especially on a street in Bucharest which was famous for various graffitis. Mainly, I was interested in capturing images like these where the freedom was actually expressed...
There are no shadows that cannot be illuminated - a picture painted by the sun without instruction in art. To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.
True simplicity is derived from so much more than just the absence of clutter and ornamentation.
One thing that never changes about my hometown in Shirak province is the sunsets. They are always as alluring and charming as they were 23 years ago.

Simplicity is somehow essentially describing the purpose and place of an object and product.
Armenian countryside vibes displayed in a few shots and giving an air of absolute simplicity and the aesthetics of natural environment.

My travel journey started from Romania, a country that has been affected mainly by German and Russian empires. It had an outstanding blending of Romance-Germanic and Slavonic architecture and culture. One would never get tired of the diversity of civilizations within this nation and the mind-blowing nature.
